Ty Mari offers luxury self-catering accommodation just outside the charming village of Cwmystwyth in Ceredigion. Our lovely holiday cottage is also just a short drive from the popular town of Aberystwyth.
Ty Mari sleeps 6 with one double bedroom and two twin rooms as well as a bathroom and separate toilet. Downstairs is open plan with comfortable seating around the inglenook fireplace and a large dining table and window seat at the other end. There is a stunning detached garden room for peace and quiet that offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside!
If you require more bedrooms and a second bathroom, there is a connecting soundproofed door to the adjoining cottage. When unlocked, you can enjoy two double bedrooms and three twin bedrooms with plenty of space for ten people. For details, see our other property Penroc on our website.
The fenced garden area is limited and shared between Ty Mari and Penroc but there is space for cars, sunbathing and a barbecue for each cottage.
The cottage is surrounded by beautiful scenery and is in excellent walking country. Below, the Ystwyth valley with its ancient hanging oaks and contemporary coniferous woodland is one of the most beautiful valleys in mid-Wales. There are glorious walks along the river with spectacular waterfalls in wetter weather.
Devil's Bridge Falls, three miles from Cwmystwyth, is a famous tourist attraction and not to be missed, although the climb is not for the frail or faint-hearted. Slightly further afield is the dramatic and varied Ceredigion coastline.
