The Linhay offers fantastic self-catering accommodation at Lower Chilverton. We are on the northern edge of Dartmoor and within easy reach of both the north and south Devon coasts.
Our fabulous barn conversions have been furnished to a high standard and maintain many original features whilst offering modern accommodation. The majestic vaulted ceiling upstairs still includes the original 17th Century beams.
The accommodation has a split level and glass front open plan area which takes advantage of the stunning countryside views and wildlife. Two ground-floor bedrooms are available: a double with a king-size bed and a superking/twin room. The double room has doors that open onto a patio overlooking the fields and fishponds.
Outside there is a patio with a table, chairs and a gas BBQ. A lovely place for al fresco dining in the early evening sun. The barn is surrounded by a garden with ponds and has lots of space to stroll around and take in the beautiful setting.
We are in a brilliant location for walking, visiting local villages and savouring local Devonshire produce. The barn is close to Exmoor and there is swimming, golf, fishing and several National Trust properties nearby.
