Lovely canal walks at Foxton Locks are perfect for a sunny evening and The Jurassic Way footpath beings at a picturesque reservoir. History fans are spoilt for choice, with Althorp house (home to the Spencer family of nearly 500 years) and the ten-acre garden at Coton Manor both accessible by car. Further attractions to visit include Kirby Hall, Rockingham Castle & Bradgate Park to name but a few.
