Onsite we have a fabulous 5-acre coarse fishing lake, stocked with carp, tench and perch. Fishing is included in the cost of lodge stays.
The local area is a haven for nature lovers. You can enjoy a beautiful walk 1 mile south of Welford in the stunning former grounds of Hemploe Hall. Scenic canal walks at Foxton Locks are perfect for a leisurely stroll and The Jurassic Way footpath just outside Sibbertoft begins at a magical reservoir. The area is also renowned for majestic historical houses; visit Althorp house, home to the Spencer family of nearly 500 years or see the magnificent ten-acre garden at Coton Manor.
