Set in beautiful unspoilt countryside on the edge of the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, yet close to the historic city of Canterbury, Stable West combines the best of all worlds. This comfortable and spacious home is beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you need for a great get away, whether you want to settle down by the wood burning stove with a novel or a board game, walk out from the house across the adjoining wild flower meadow to follow one of the many local footpaths and perhaps stroll to a nearby pub, or simply sit and enjoy listening to the birds outside in the lovely garden.
As well as Canterbury with its ancient cathedral and large range of shops, cafés and restaurants, there are many other places of interest within easy reach, such as Howletts Zoo Park (10 minutes by car), Dover Castle (25 minutes) and Sissinghurst Gardens (40 mins). There is also a wide variety of beaches and seaside resorts between 20 and 40 minutes away. Canterbury is less than an hour from London by train, and we are 20 minutes from the Channel Tunnel. There are walks straight from the house, and the Granville pub is a 10 minute walk away, serving delicious food and also great for a pint of the local beer.
