Green Hope Self Catering is situated at Ellemford near Duns in a beautiful part of the Berwickshire countryside. The holiday home provides the ideal base for a family, friends or a couple who want to explore the Scottish Borders.
There are two accommodation units – the River Suite and the Columba Apartment, each with 2 bedrooms (a double and a family room), their own bathrooms and kitchen and living area. They are booked as complete, self-contained units. As before, the bedrooms are named after local birds.
The two units are separate but can be linked to form a 4-bedroom facility.
Guests will never be short of things to do or places of interest to visit. The accommodation has immediate access to garden walks, beautiful countryside and wildlife. The dark skies are ideal for stargazing. The surrounding area is ideal for cycling and walking holidays (Southern Upland Way very close) and the accommodation is also within easy access of two reservoirs for river fishing.
There are also many excellent sandy beaches abound on the Berwickshire and East Lothian Coastline only about 25 minutes away. Golf courses too are many and varied and in St Abbs, diving enthusiasts are regular visitors – along with the seals!
