The Steading at Hearthstanes Estate in Tweedsmuir, Biggar in Lanarkshire, offers wonderful self-catering accommodation in a stunning location. The estate covers several thousand acres of wild, unspoiled open hills and forests along both sides of the upper reaches of the renowned River Tweed, making us a truly idyllic location.
We offer excellent holiday homes in a range of traditional stone farm buildings which can accommodate up to 12 guests in 3 separate courtyard cottages.
For the 2021 season, we will have washer/driers in all cottages, a hydro pool, and a new function room.
There is a wide range of activities on the farm and the surrounding area. Sika and roe deer stalking with professional guides, fishing, hiking, biking, and 9-pin bowling are possible on the Estate
