Island Riding Centre offers superb self catering accommodation in Newport on the Isle of Wight. We have a range of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom cottages available, ideal for friends or family looking to stay in a beautiful part of the country. We welcome your four-legged friends, making us perfect for an unforgettable horse riding holiday. Onsite there is a wide range of facilities for horse riders and we welcome non-horse riding guests too.
We have 10 newly built and period cottages in a Victorian dairy barn conversion. The beautifully furnished properties are arranged around a pretty courtyard and 7 of the houses have been awarded Visit England’s 4 Star Gold award. The cottages are fully accessible and there are downstairs bathrooms and WCs in all the properties. Three of the houses have downstairs wet rooms and Pegasus has a ground floor wet room, double bedroom and kitchen with adjustable worktops.
All the properties come with well-equipped kitchens, comfortable bedrooms, modern bathrooms and cosy living areas with Freeview TV. We also have dog friendly properties which come with gorgeous oak beams and enclosed gardens. Young ones can enjoy playing at the children’s playground which is securely fenced and includes swings, a see-saw, football pitch and mini-beach.
Newport is a lovely town to explore and comes with a range of well-known stores and independent shops. A regular market is held on Tuesday and you can see lots of attractions, including the Museum of Island History, Quay Arts Centre and the Newport Roman Villa.
