The shops and restaurants are all in close proximity as are the numerous art galleries of St Ives.
All the main beaches of the town are within easy walking distance. Porthmeor is only a five-minute walk and particularly popular with the more adventurous who want to surf. Porthminster and Porthgwidden are lovely family beaches and both boast excellent Beach Restaurants and Barbecues.
If, however, you want to feel the sand under your toes but don’t need a walk then the Harbour Beach is just yards away under your living room windows. St Ives is an excellent centre for walking – the coastal pathways to Zennor and Carbis Bay are spectacular but the less energetic might feel equally relaxed taking a gentle stroll along the seafront, watching the sun set over St Ives Bay.
