Shepherds Rest, Low Easby, Great Ayton, North Yorkshire (Sleeps 1-4)

Shepherds Rest offers luxury self catering accommodation in a stylish barn conversion at Low Easby on the edge of the North York Moors National Park.

A former 18th-Century barn sympathetically converted into a stylish and contemporary living space. A light and airy living and dining area/kitchen is open to the eaves and boasts “eco-friendly” underfloor heating together with the attractive feature of a wood-burning stove. The kitchen is fully equipped to complete with breakfast bar and Fired Earth tiles. The cottage is fitted with broadband which is available to use for our guests.

Exposed beams together with wide reclaimed floor timbers throughout add to the overall elegance of the entire property which successfully mixes contemporary fittings/furnishings with small touches of original pieces of antique furniture.

Two spacious bedrooms are bright and cheerful with sumptuous soft furnishings. Each bedroom has its own super king-size bed, which are also zip and link to allow various arrangements of guests. Each bedroom also has its own beautifully finished bathroom.

The location of Shepherds Rest ensures that there is something to suit everyone. So whether it’s walking, cycling, hiking, eating, shopping, soaking up history or simply relaxing in peaceful surroundings we feel sure you will want to come back for more. Vibrant city centre shopping is also within reach at both Newcastle and the Gateshead Metro Centre.
