Eastgate Barn offers self catering accommodation located just outside of Holme-next-the-Sea and close to the thriving market town of Hunstanton. Our holiday cottage is a great base for exploring the beautiful Norfolk coastline and is a cosy conversion of a 17th Century Norfolk barn.
This carefully decorated and converted barn has been finished to a high standard to ensure it still retains much of its original charm and character. The barn has kept its abundance of beams and has stripped pine furniture offering accommodation of taste and character. Eastgate Barn is fully carpeted with electric night storage heating throughout.
The open plan living space with large windows to the front of the property incorporates a sitting room area with twin two seater sofas, television and sideboard leading to the kitchen and dining area. This room includes a stripped pine dining table and four chairs, pine dresser and fitted kitchen incorporating a freestanding electric cooker and hob with extractor hood over, fridge, microwave, washing machine, toaster and kettle.
Outside is a shared driveway with the owner’s property and parking for two cars. To the front of the barn, there is a small patio with a table and four chairs. To the rear is another patio area with a rotary dryer. Guests are welcome to sit on the grass at the front of the patio to enjoy the owners' beautiful gardens.
The local beach is huge and even at the height of the season; you can easily find plenty of room.
The nature reserves at NOA Holme-next-the-Sea and NWT Holme Dunes are conveniently located in the village and those at RSPB Titchwell Marsh and RSPB Snettisham are both within a few miles. Further afield, the well-known reserve at NWT Cley Marshes is about a 30 minute drive away.
