Cnoc Na Ba, Finsbay, Isle Of Harris

Cnoc Na Ba (meaning "Hill of the Cow" in Gaelic) is situated on the outskirts of the village of Finsbay on the rocky east coast of South Harris known as "The Bays". Finsbay is a crofting community where Gaelic is spoken and is near to the sea overlooking Skye amid moorland, inland lochs and the hills of South Harris. It is a safe and fun place for children and well located for exploring the Western Isles.

The comfortable, quality accommodation sleeping 4 adjoins the owners' home but is separate and self-contained. The accommodation is for hire all year round. May to September booking is from Saturday to Saturday, but at other times your individual needs can be negotiated.

The terrain is wild and majestic, ideal for walking, which can be as challenging as you want it to be, cycling, fishing, water sports, bird watching, discovering wildflowers or just getting away to a truly beautiful unspoiled and remote island.

The Isle of Harris is part of the Outer Hebrides (formerly known as the Western Isles) chain of islands located at the Westernmost edge of Europe. If you like an outdoor life Harris will offer you a wonderful opportunity to get away from the pressures of modern living. It is a geologist's paradise with the oldest rocks in the world and has a great diversity of terrain with a wild, rocky lunar-like landscape in The Bays and beautiful world class beaches within reasonable proximity to Cnoc Na Ba.
