Boxwood is a contemporary woodland retreat, outside the centre of Beckley in East Sussex. This unique holiday home is set within a quiet ancient woodland & is a welcome escape for those who want to escape the city.
Access to the property for the last 100 metres is via an ancient highway – which is an unmade road. Approaching the property this way really makes you feel that you are escaping the stresses of modern day living. At the end of the road is a beautiful, open plan retreat.
The house can sleep up to 5 people in 3 double bedrooms, one of which has en suite facilities. The living/kitchen/dining area opens out onto two generous outdoor dining terraces. With oak flooring throughout, the finishes are clean, modern and light.
This ancient woodland is home to a myriad of wildlife including wild boar, muntjac deer, bats and a plethora of birdlife.
A short drive away is the port town of Rye. The historic hilltop town is a top tourist attraction with its winding cobbled streets, medieval buildings and rich mix of quirky shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants.
