Dartmoor Farmhouse offers self catering accommodation situated just outside the village of Widecombe in the Moor in the heart of the truly stunning Dartmoor National Park. We are well placed for large groups wishing for a peaceful, rural Devon retreat.
Our south facing 17th Century long house is perfect for those wishing to stay in the heart of Dartmoor. Our holiday home has been refurbished combining tradition with modern comfort for twelve in five bedrooms, with extra beds on a landing and in a small sitting room.
The holiday cottage is ideal for gatherings of friends and families and a perfect base for walkers, cyclists or kayakers. Adding in the barn it makes it the ideal venue for workshops or retreats.
We have ample parking as well as stunning farm and moorland views.
Dartmoor National Park is on your doorstep. The Two Moors Way runs along the top of Hameldown to Grimspound bronze age village and Hookney Tor. Walk over the top of Hameldown to Widecombe (3 miles by road; 2 pubs, 2 cafés, church, National Trust shop, post office, gift shops).
