Talehay Holiday Cottages offer a selection of contemporary and beautifully decorated self-catering holiday homes tucked away on a tranquil country lane in the picturesque Cornish countryside. There are four holiday cottages available, accommodating between 2 and 4 guests. These cottages can be rented individually or as a group unit. Each cottage is set within spacious gardens with ample lawned areas, perfect for picnics and barbecues, and safe for children to play.
1. **The Lodge** - Sleeps 2 + cot. A bright and spacious open-plan studio cottage featuring a remote control colour TV and video. It offers a double bed with extra space for an occasional bed. The cottage is centrally heated and comes with a fully equipped kitchen, including a microwave oven and automatic washer/dryer. There is a separate bath/shower room and WC, making it ideal for couples or smaller families.
2. **Barn & Owl Cottages** - Sleep 2 & 4 people. These cottages exude character with beams, slate window sills, and stone fireplaces. The Barn cottage boasts a king bedroom with an adjoining bath/shower room with WC, while the Owl cottage features one double and one twin bedroom with a bath/shower room and WC. Both cottages offer the opportunity to soak up the late afternoon sun on their patios. They are equipped with fully-fledged kitchens and are centrally heated for your comfort.
3. **The Coach House** - Sleeps 2 + cot. This light, bright, and comfortable cottage provides accommodation on a single level. It stands detached and offers uninterrupted views over open countryside. With one double bedroom, a bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchen area, it provides all the essentials you need for a relaxing stay. The Coach House is centrally heated, ensuring a cosy and welcoming atmosphere.
In the local area, you'll discover the ancient fishing port of Looe, where a generous sandy beach is complemented by a promenade and the distinctive Banjo-shaped pier. The heart of the town revolves around the bustling working harbour, where fresh fish are landed and sold daily. Looe also offers a diverse selection of pubs, cafés, restaurants, shops, banks, and building societies.
