Accommodation
All of the beautifully furnished cottages are perfect for a peaceful break in a rural location. Each cottage comes with gardens and patio areas to dine on. Guests have use of our stunning indoor swimming and hot tub. You can also relax on the sun lounge area and savour the spectacular views of the Fowey Estuary and the open countryside.
Coaches Rest – Sleeps 4
This spacious cottage has been thoughtfully restored and still retains traditional old beams. The tastefully furnished ground floor cottage comes with 2 bedrooms with en suite bedrooms and a cot. The king room comes with a level entry shower area which is perfect for people with restricted mobility and comes with support rails and easy wheelchair access.
A large open-plan kitchen, dining and living area will suit all your needs. The lounge has two cosy leather settees, a 40’’ flat-screen TV and a selection of books. The well-equipped kitchen comes with an electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. Sliding doors lead to a paved patio area with garden furniture and a gas BBQ. The ideal place for al fresco dining.
Church Meadow – Sleeps 6
Our large split-level house boasts a unique character and is furnished to a high standard. On the ground floor, there are two bedrooms: one twin and a zip and link bed which can be a 6ft super king bed or two 3ft single beds. The fully equipped kitchen includes an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. The separate dining room is perfect for a memorable meal.
On the upper level is a master bedroom with a double bed and an adjacent bathroom. The cosy sitting room comes with an open fireplace with an electric fire and 28’’ flat-screen TV. Patio doors open onto a delightful paved balcony with garden furniture and a gas BBQ. From here you can admire breathtaking views of the Fowey River Valley and open countryside.
Old Granary – Sleeps 10
This charming rustic property has been tastefully restored and features traditional beams and oak flooring. All the rooms enjoy spectacular countryside views over the Fowey Valley. Some rooms also boast river views. Granite steps lead to a double en suite bedroom. Two further bedrooms with twin or triple beds with en suite facilities are also on this level. A gorgeous oak stairway leads to a large living/dining/kitchen area. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a Rayburn oven. A relaxing lounge comes with an electric wood burner, leather seating and 40’’ flat-screen TV. The master bedroom has a king-size bed with en suite facilities. Patio doors from the living area lead to a lovely decking area.
Guests can come and feed our hungry animals, including chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs (free of charge). Perfect for all the family! Children can also enjoy the games room, trampoline and play area.
Visiting Golant & Exploring Cornwall
The nearby port of Fowey has lots of scenic streets, interesting shops and galleries. The harbour has river trips which depart daily and lots of great pubs and restaurants to be sampled. Charlestown has a beautiful harbour and The Shipwreck and Heritage Centre is perfect for history fans
