Higher Pound Farm offers lovely catering accommodation in Monkton Wild, based in a peaceful location on a pretty south-facing hillside. We boast outstanding views down the valley to the sea at Charmouth and are in a great position for exploring Dorset.
Accommodation
We have a variety of cottages to choose from, including Warren View, Sunnyside, Pilsden Fort, Coney’s Castle, Lambert’s Castle and Golden Cap.
All our cottages are equipped with a range of facilities to suit your needs. The kitchens all come with base cupboards, electric cookers, microwave oven and fridge/freezers. The cottages all include a TV.
Golden Cap and Warren View all have showers, but no baths, whilst Lamberts, Pilsdon and Coneys have baths, with a shower over the bath.
Outside of our cottages, there are seating areas, perfect for a glass of wine whilst savouring the views.
Visiting Monkton Wild & Exploring Dorset
We are in a great position for discovering all that the area has to offer. Around 3 miles from Charmouth is the quaint seaside town of Lyme Regis, home to cafes, restaurants, shops and museums. You can also stroll along the promenade. You can also visit Bridport or the charming seaside of West Bay.
