Riverbank Lodge offers lovely self catering accommodation on a private island in the centre of Horning, perfect for an idyllic getaway. We boast amazing river views and also offer easy access to the famous cathedral city of Norwich. Further afield you can visit lots of brilliant attractions in Norfolk.
Accommodation
We offer truly unique accommodation, nestled on the main bank of the River Bure. From the first-floor balcony and outdoor areas you can savour stunning views.
On the ground floor, we have a well-equipped kitchen with a range of appliances: American-style Fridge and Freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. Unwind in the cosy lounge/dining area that enjoys garden and river views. A ground floor toilet and shower are also available.
We have 3 en suite bedrooms available, plus a first-floor balcony to unwind on.
Outside we have a south facing garden with a large river frontage, a picnic bench and BBQ for al fresco dining.
Moorings available bring your own boat slip way onsite, day boat rental onsite.
Visiting Horning & Exploring Norfolk
Our holiday cottage is situated just a short walk from the shops, pubs, restaurants and takeaways. Nearby there are many interesting attractions to visit such as Norwich Castle, Bewilderwood, Felbrigg Hall, Theatre Royal Norwich and Norfolk Museum. Miles of fine sandy beaches just 13 miles away.
