Cologin Country Chalets offers fabulous accommodation within the Lerags Glen near Oban. We offer accommodation in chalets, lodges, a farmhouse and 1 cottage, ideal for exploring Argyll, Bute & The Islands. Our holiday homes have many beautiful walks in the surrounding Scottish countryside while still being able to access the hustle and bustle of the busy town of Oban.
Chalets
We have four fabulous chalets available, all perfect for a relaxing getaway in a stunning location. The Outer Hebridean chalets (Harris and Lewis) both come with king beds, and another set of chalets come with a standard double (South Uist) and one with two single beds (North Uist). All the rooms come with en suite shower rooms. Each chalet comes with a cosy open plan lounge with comfy seating, Freesat TV and an electric fire. A fully equipped kitchenette comes with a range of appliances.
Lodges
Our superb lodges are great for a magical country retreat. Type A comes with 1 double and 1 twin, whilst Type B has a double or king. Type A also has a family bathroom with a shower over bath and Type B has a shower. Unwind in the relaxing lounge which an open plan lounge with comfy seating and Freesat TV. Cook up a storm in the fully-equipped kitchen. Outside there is a decking area with a table and chairs for al fresco dining.
Cruchan
This charming cottage sleeps 2 people and is nestled in an elevated position, boasting amazing views. A lovely lounge comes with a toasty wood burner and Freesat TV. The kitchen is fully-equipped and there is a breakfast bar. Enjoy a restful night’s sleep in the king size double bed and the newly fitted bathroom has a luxury tub and separate shower. Patio doors form the lounge open to a delightful private garden with a table and chairs, great for a glass of wine.
Cologin Farmhouse
Our gorgeous farmhouse sleeps 10 people and is perfect for large family or group looking for somewhere special to stay. Outside there is a private garden, south facing decking area with seating and a wood-fired Scandinavian hot tub to soak yourself in. On the ground floor is 1 super king en suite, whilst the first floor has 1 twin, 1 family room, 1 king en suite and 1 double. A wonderful south facing lounge has an fire, Freesat TV and stereo sound system. The family kitchen comes with a range of excellent appliances for rustling up a feast.
Visiting Lerags & Exploring Arygll
Argyll, Bute and The Islands are a great place to visit that all the family will enjoy. There are many beautiful walks, places of interest and historic castles nearby so you can be sure you will never have a dull moment during your stay. Fishing is available from Lock Gleann a’Bhearraidh which is less than a mile away, in the hills above our holiday cottage. You can fish from the banks or take our boat out for a row. There’s plenty to do in the area and a host of other outdoor activities including walking, riding, cycling and golf. Superb attractions to visit include:
