Bythynnod Blaengader Cottages, Llanfarian, Aberystwyth, Ceredigion (Sleeps 1-6)


Blaengader self-catering cottages in Llanfarian, Aberystwyth, Ceredigion, is set in a beautiful countryside location. Ideally situated for walking, cycling and golfing and only 4 miles from the seaside and the university town of Aberystwyth, we are in a superb location to enjoy the local area.

We have 3 fully equipped luxurious cottages with one sleeping 6 and the other two sleeping 4 to 6. The holiday cottages are recently converted stone outbuildings which have superb panoramic views of Ceredigion. Each cottage has its own furnished patio area and ample off-road parking. All cottages are on ground level and therefore suitable for people with mobility difficulties. The bus to the nearest town is only 10 metres away from the front door on all cottages. Welsh friendly atmosphere with owners on site. A welcome hamper is presented on arrival.

At Blaengader there are three adjoining self-catering cottages. They all have central heating which is included in the price. Each cottage has an electric fire in the lounge together with a remote control Freeview TV, DVD player and hi-fi. The kitchens are fully equipped to a high standard, each with a freezer, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and Freeview TV. Hairdryers, electric iron and boards supplied. All cottages have 24-hour access to a separate laundry room.

ILAR COTTAGE:
1 Double Bedroom,1 Bedroom with bunk beds. Bathroom with separate shower.

ENLLI COTTAGE:
1 Double bedroom, 1 double en suite bedroom and 1 bedroom with bunk beds. Washing machine in the unit. Bathroom with overhead shower and separate en suite shower room.

DINAS COTTAGE:
1 Double bedroom, 1 Twin bedroom. Bathroom with overhead shower. Sofabed in the lounge.

Our cottages are suitable for disabled people with all rooms on the ground floor. This includes a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and living area. Neither are there any height restrictions. Easy access for a wheelchair, all doors are a minimum of 750mm and the main door is 860mm wide. Easy parking and the flat walking surface on the property, is tarmac. There are no steps into the property and the garden can be accessed in a wheelchair. There is an extra light in the kitchen and a speaking clock for people with visual impairment. This is available by arrangement, just let us know when you book. There are grab rails in the bathroom. There is room for a wheelchair to fit under the dining table, room under the bed for a suitcase and a hoist. The light switches and door handles are positioned to offer easy access. Incontinence pads and hypodermic needles can be safely disposed of. Assistance dogs are welcome.

The town of Aberystwyth is the largest town in West Wales. As well as having a wide variety of shops and a market, 'Aber' hosts the National Library and the Ceredigion Museum. Also worth visiting is the cliff railway and the Camera Obscura on Constitution Hill. Aberystwyth Castle was built by Edward I in 1277 and is now largely ruined.
