Bridge Farmhouse, Michaelchurch Escley, Herefordshire (Sleeps 1-10)

Bridge Farmhouse is a 16th-century farmhouse packed full of character, perfect for families and groups looking for a rural escape. Relax, walk, and enjoy nature. Less than one minute walk from a wonderful riverside rural pub.

Michaelchurch Escley is very small, but very wonderfully located, you have many little or big walks on your doorstep, also you could get from us to Hay on Wye, Brecon Beacons National Park, Abergavenny and the cathedral city of Hereford.

Bridge Farm is a wonderful space to relax after a local walk and enjoy the surroundings. As you enter the English Heritage Listed farmhouse you are welcomed into the large kitchen, the heart of the house and the perfect place to socialize and get together, comfortably seating up to twelve guests.

The cosy yet spacious lounge sits up to 10 people in two comfy sofas and two armchairs oozes with original fixtures so you can enjoy a delicious cup of our own freshly roasted coffee or a G&T, from our own distillery next door. Sitting next to the log burner surrounded by the untouched 16th-century wood panelling, beams and flagstone flooring is a real treat.

On the first floor, the large landing holds an inviting sitting area with views overlooking at the back garden. All bedrooms are spacious and stylish, there is a family bathroom (walk-in shower, separate bath, sink and WC).

To the rear of Bridge Farmhouse, there is a patio area with a pizza oven, BBQ, tables, and chairs, with a lawn and flower garden.

We are in the shadows of the Black Hills, wedged between the rolling countryside of Herefordshire & rugged peaks in the Brecon Beacons National park, we are the perfect base for walking.
