The North Pennines have been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with spectacular walks including the Weardale Way which passes through our farm and the Pennine Way which is within easy reach. Lots of fantastic mountain bike trails are in the area, including many at Hamsterley forest which is a biker’s paradise. There are great fishing opportunities in the area and we have our own stretch of private fishing on the River Wear.
