Storr Lochs Lodge, Storrloch, Portree, Isle of Skye (Sleeps 1 - 4)
Storr Lochs Lodge is a traditional, stone-built fishing lodge on Loch Fada, the first of the two Storr Lochs. Situated on the Trotternish Peninsula, this is an area of mountains and lochs with views out to the islands of Rona and Raasay and the dramatic hills of Applecross on the mainland.
Storr Lochs Lodge is a perfect base for exploring the Isle of Skye. The large lounge has an open fire & superb views over the loch. At one end of the room is a large dining table, next to a serving hatch through to the kitchen. There are 2 bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor.
Storr Lochs Lodge sits in an enviable position right on the water's edge at Loch Fada. It is one of the only two properties on this beautiful loch. There is a boat available to use if required and a jetty available.
The historic, scenic town of Portree is 5 miles to the south. Storr Lochs Lodge is reached by leaving Portee northwards. The road is single track in places but goes directly past Storr Lochs and the holiday cottage can be easily found.
