Hargate Hall is a large country residence that is set within 7 acres of beautiful parkland in the heart of the Peak District National Park. The country house has been carefully refurbished to offer 12 self catering holiday apartments, and can accommodate a party of 77 when hired collectively. This is perfect for families and special occasions.
All of the holiday apartments have a fully fitted kitchen area with everything you would expect to find. They also have TV, Hi-Fi and DVD players. Balmoral, Windsor and Sandringham apartments also have dishwashers. Cots and high chairs are available free of charge.
The stunning and diverse scenery of the Peak District makes it a paradise for walking, cycling, mountain biking and adventure sports such as caving, rock climbing, hang gliding and paragliding. You can also visit Chatsworth House. The house is set in huge a parkland, overlooked by wooded, rocky hills. The house contains a unique collection of paintings, furniture, sculptures, books and other artefacts. Keen historians should visit Haddon Hall. It is probably the finest example of a medieval manor house currently in existence in England.
