Located at the northern end of Horton in Ribblesdale and at the centre of the Three Peaks, the cottage is ideally situated as a base for your stay. A well-balanced combination of 17th century features and modern facilities makes Blindbeck an excellent choice for your visit to the Dales.
The cottage is of a high standard with traditional exposed oak beams and is full of character and charm with views overlooking Pen-y-Ghent. The cottage consists of a kitchen with dining area, living, dining room, downstairs shower and toilet. The upstairs of the cottage consists of 3 bedrooms (2 double and 1 single) and bathroom. The well equipped kitchen includes an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, iron, toaster and a spin dryer. Bed linen, towels, heating toilet rolls, tea towel, washing up liquid are included in the rent of the cottage. The Crown and the Golden Lion Inn are just a 5 minute walk away.
Based on the B6479 road and a short walk from the local train station (on the Settle-Carlisle), Blindbeck offers excellent access to all the attractions the Yorkshire Dales has to offer, including the famous Three Peaks, Ingleton Waterfalls, Whitescar Caves, the Settle-Carlisle railway and the market towns of Settle and Skipton.
