Woodturner's Cottage is a beautifully renovated former joiner's workshop. It formed part of the old stone-built steading of Yester Mains. Set on a working dairy and arable farm and only a mile from the picturesque East Lothian village of Gifford.
The cottage can sleep up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms. Ideal for friends or family, the rooms are set up as a double en suite and 2 twin bedrooms. The living room has a wood-burning stove and doors leading onto the patio and garden. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped.
The holiday cottage is just a short walk from the pubs, church, shop, hairdressers and food store in Gifford village. If you want to visit somewhere a bit more lively then Haddington town has got a supermarket, pubs and restaurants.
East Lothian has plenty of attractions and places of interest. Some in the local area include the National Museum of Flight, Hailes Castle, Yester Castle, Lennoxlove Houses & Aberlady Nature Reserve.
