Courtyard Cottage, a refurbished stone barn on Hopyard Farm, offers quality holiday accommodation for groups of up to fourteen guests.
Courtyard Cottage is walking distance to the local village with pub and local shop and just 3 miles from Abergavenny. Guests looking for an active holiday can choose from horse riding in the Black Mountains, walking the Usk or Wye Valley Walks, paragliding off the Blorenge Mountain or hire one of our bikes and gently pedal along the canal or crank up the speed with a mountain bike.
Courtyard Cottage has its own private rear garden with tables, chairs and parasol. A large lawned area offers trampoline, swing and play equipment for the children plus a boules strip all with fabulous views across the Usk Valley. A flat tarmac area provides the perfect pitch for short tennis, roller skating or scootering. A large BBQ is available for guests and can be set up in the garden. Hopyard Farm offers a wet weather option with a large Games Room. Snooker, pool, table tennis, football and bar billiard tables provided plus dart board. Selection of toys for the younger children too.
The kitchen and dining area measures 30ft offering ample space for large groups all housed in a single storey barn with exposed roof beams. The kitchen area was refurbished in 2009 with a large Rangemaster electric cooker with double oven, dishwasher and intergarted fridge. An additional large fridge/freezer is located in the lobby. The large table can comfortably seat 10/12 people and the breakfast bar has seating for 3. All supermarkets deliver to Hopyard Farm.
