Our holiday cottage is a short drive from Hereford and is a homely retreat from which to explore Herefordshire.
Our holiday home is a beautifully converted 18th Century barn and has unique views towards the neighbouring Border Castle and surrounding hills, guests can enjoy a restful break. There is en suite accommodation for up to 14 people in this stunning barn with sociable living spaces. There is underfloor heating throughout the holiday cottage.
Orchard Barn is 8 miles West of Ross on Wye and the M50 and 6 miles North of the Historic town of Monmouth with dual carriage way heading to the M4. This area, only a mile from the Welsh border, is very beautiful and there is plenty to do. There are many lovely walks which make Orchard Barn an excellent base for a party of walking friends. These walks include: The Three Castle Walk - Grosmont Castle, White Castle and Skenfrith Castle - which is only 2 miles away; The Hereford Way, The Wye Valley Walk and The Offa’s Dyke Trail. Garway Hill, which is 4 miles away, has stunning views and should not be missed. Or you could just enjoy a leisurely walk through the Herefordshire countryside from the door of the Barn itself.
