Each of our holiday cottages has a south facing stone paved patio area. There are flower troughs alongside the millrace, garden furniture and surrounding fields with grazing sheep, making each cottage the perfect base for those who want to escape to the country. 
Lowna Farmhouse
A luxury 5 star holiday cottage sleeping up to 8 people. It has a large farmhouse kitchen with Aga and electric oven, an elegant dining room with oak table and upholstered chairs and a large sitting room with open fire and sofas you can sink into. There is a good sized utility room makes this a practical family cottage. An oak staircase leads up to four bedrooms with king-size beds (or twins), luxury en suites and a good bathroom. The enclosed garden is a sun trap with sitting out area but also plenty of space for play. 
Surprise View Cottage
This holiday cottage has entrance leading to two bedrooms, 1 double, 1 twin, both with vanity units, drawers and fitted wardrobes. The bathroom has bath suite with toilet and washbasin & shower over bath. There is an internal staircase to the first floor which has a high beamed lounge with log burning stove set in a brick on stone wall, spacious fitted kitchen & dining area; this can also be accessed by a separate outside stone stairway. Fitted carpets throughout the cottage with pretty fabrics and furnishings make this a perfect home from home. 
Field Barn Cottage
A cosy holiday cottage full of charm and character. There is a carpeted lounge which has beams, 2 stone walls and living flame gas stove; French windows and arrow windows give panoramic views over valleys and woods. The hall also leads to a large, tiled, fitted kitchen with stone walled dining area and French windows giving access to another patio area overlooking the farm, woods & open moorland; two arrow windows looking north & south. The first floor has 2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin, both with fitted vanity units, drawers, wardrobes and enclosed shelf space. Each has good views over open countryside. The bathroom has bath suite, washbasin, toilet and shower over bath and plenty of fluffy white towels; bed linen is co ordinated and plentiful. 
Being located on the edge of the North York Moors makes us a walker’s & cyclist’s paradise. Guests to the holiday cottage have immediate access to fields, tracks, woods and a network of public footpaths including the link walk; you can walk out leaving your car behind! Named after the well known, panoramic view looking down from the nearby church at Gillamoor; they are only 1 mile from the picturesque village of Hutton-le-Hole with its renowned Ryedale Folk Museum.
Even though in the heart of the country, they are central for cycling and touring the area, being only 25 miles from York, Whitby & Scarborough. They have a wealth of historic Abbeys, Churches and Castles on the doorstep as well as major attractions like Castle Howard, North York Moors Railway, & Flamingoland.
