Quarryman's Cottages in Cornwall offer self catering accommodation located between the bustiling market town of Wadebridge and the lovely coastal fishing village of Padstow in Cornwall. The cottages were originally built as the homes of workers in the slate quarries in the nineteenth century and are situated overlooking the Camel estuary.

Quarryman's Cottages, Wadebridge, Padstow, Cornwall (Sleeps 1 - 4)
Our holiday cottages are heated by means of a wood burning stove, with the additional benefit of storage heaters.
From the cottages there are views over wonderful unspoiled countryside down to the Camel estuary with its sandy river beaches. There is a cycle track where the old railway to Padstow used to run. Cycle hire is widely available.
These bike rides must not be missed, even a non cyclist like me can hire an adult sized tricycle or even share a tandem. Over the years we have seen every conceivable conveyance for transporting children and watched the cycle hire business flourish so that now it is advisable to book ahead at busy periods.
At Padstow you can use a ferry to cross to Rock and walk over the dunes to the picturesque little church where John Betjeman is buried, play golf or else enjoy the spectacular rugged scenery and clean, safe beaches while skylarks soar overhead.
