Glen View, Thorington, Halesworth, Suffolk (Sleeps 1 - 8)
The garden has been landscaped to create an attractive outside space with lawns and herbaceous planting, an orchard and wildflower meadow, together with garden furniture and BBQ plus a rustic Shepherd's Hut for two extra guests during the summer months. A wildlife pond has been created and both the pond and the garden are securely fences for children and dogs.
The house was designed by award winning architect, James Gorst and has been built counter to the slope of the garden which elevates the living room to provide views over the surrounding fields.
At the other end of the house, the master bedroom is cut into the hillside to give low views through the meadows. The interior is spacious and light and each of the huge picture windows create a tableau of vistas of beautiful trees and the surrounding countryside, which creates a truly relaxing ambience throughout the house.
