The property, maintained to the highest standards, overlooks the water garden of the nearby farmhouse and on beyond to the Cheviot Hills. An ideal base for all sporting activities or touring the beautiful, scenic countryside Scotland has to offer.

The chief place of the Middle Marches on the Scottish side, Jedburgh, from its proximity to the Border, was the scene of constant strife and bloodshed almost from its foundation in the 9th century. The town suffered severely at the hands of the English, notably in 1523 when it was attacked by the Earl of Surrey. In 1544-45 it was sacked and burned by the Earl of Hertford.
Now a peaceful country town, Jedburgh provides the ideal centre to visit the Border Abbeys and stately homes or a place in which just to wander at ease and explore the surrounding countryside.
