Hay Cottage, Malborough, Salcombe, South Devon (Sleeps 1-6)

This is a charming old holiday cottage with beams and a recently exposed inglenook now housing an Aga log burner. The windows are typical of most Devon cottages of the period, deep with wide sills showing the thickness of the walls.

Malborough lies between the sailing centre of Salcombe and the pretty market town of Kingsbridge, on a bus link connecting the two. Salcombe is very lively at night in summer with numerous restaurants and pubs, many overlooking the water.
Salcombe Festival happens in June; Salcombe Town Regatta and Salcombe Yacht Club Regatta take place in August. Kingsbridge has a cinema and indoor swimming pool.
