Cruard Cottage, Isle Ornsay, Isle of Skye (Sleeps 1-5)

It is right by the shore of Camus Cross Bay beside the picturesque village of Isle Ornsay. This, a crofting village of whitewashed cottages, once was a busy harbour for fishing boats. It has views overlooking a beautiful lighthouse. The local Hotel Eilean Iarmain has good food and a welcoming bar often with live music and Ceilidhs.

The holiday cottage has recently been refurbished to a high standard and is furnished tastefully throughout.

Skye is renowned for its geological formations, the gabbro of the Black Cuillin, the hard granite of the Red Cuillin, the lava landscape of Quirang and Storr and the Jurassic sandstone of the pitted rock at Elgol.

The wildlife is abundant around the rugged sea lochs where you may see dolphins, seals, whales, otters and sea eagles. Deer are never far away.
