Ardtornish, Morven, Oban, Argyll, Bute & The Islands (Sleeps 1-18)

Upon arrival you are sure to receive a warm Scottish welcome and be able to embrace the peace and quiet of the surrounding area. The Artdonish Estate has lots to do and see with over 35,000 acres to explore.

We are always delighted to welcome back our many regular visitors but if you haven't visited Ardtornish before, please do take a moment to view the range of properties we offer, from the Victorian splendour of apartments in Ardtornish House to cosy stone built cottages and our Bunkhouse for walkers.

From Ardtornish’s heights you can gaze to the mountains of the Hebrides. Ancient woods surround sheltered sea-lochs. Waterfalls drop straight from moorland to the sea. In the nineteenth century this largely wild landscape was carefully turned into a model estate: at its heart a stupendous mansion house, half French chateau, half Victorian engineering triumph. Around its feet are gardens filled with veteran trees and century-old Himalayan rhododendrons, officially described as ‘stunning’. At every turn are elegant and decorative cottages. It would be difficult to find a place in which more care has been taken.
