Red Lion Cottage, Stiffkey, Norfolk (Sleeps 1-4)

Stiffkey or Stewkey is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has one of the richest salt marshes for wildlife in the country – it’s a surreal world of wide open spaces, carpets of sea lavender and muddy, tidal creeks.

The beach is located close to the holiday cottage just remember to check the tide times! You can also walk across the marshes to Stiffkey Beach, you’re likely to have it almost to yourself. You can even go along the coast to Burnham Overy-Staithe and take the little ferry over to Scolt Head Island.

Crabbing - everyone loves crabbing whether you’re five or 50! There are crab lines in the cottage so all you need is some bacon as bait. Try catching your crabs from the quays where the boats tie up at Morston.
