Cobbles Cottage, Talgarth, Brecon, Powys (Sleeps 1-4)

The cottage itself was formerly the kitchen and dairy of Great House and pre-dates the main building. Forming part of Talgarth’s most historic buildings, Great House dates from around 1750, and still retains the original cobbled front yard – hence the name Cobbles Cottage.

Cobbles Cottage is also well situated for the bookshops of Hay-on-Wye, the Brecon Jazz Festival, Royal Welsh Show and is only an hour or so from major cities like Cardiff and Swansea and even the seaside.

Should you fancy a nice meal after all that exercise and sight-seeing there is no shortage of excellent restaurants nearby or why not try the Baker's Table situated in the recently renovated Mill, as seen on BBC's Village SOS.
