There are fresh water lochs in the hills whose fishing rights may be available to visitors on application to the post office, and also a private fresh water loch available only with our permission.

Cottages: Ardenstur House sleeps 10, Top Ardenstur sleeps 7, Croft and Shore each sleep 6 and Ardenstur 1, 2 and 3 each sleep 2. The whole site is very secluded with easy approach to the hills behind and the woodland and the shoreline to the front.

Loch Melfort is one of the series of many sea lochs along the western seaboard of Scotland. The islands of Mull, Iona, Colonsay, Tiree and Coll are easy trips by the islands steamer from Oban. The area has a large selection of wild flowers with birds, deer and otter as frequent visitors.
